COSSA Releases 2019 Rankings of Universities' Federal Social Science Funding

The Consortium of Social Science Associations (COSSA), of which NCFR is a member, has released its 2019 College and University Rankings for Federal Social and Behavioral Science R&D, which ranks 468 universities based on federal research and development expenditures for the social and behavioral sciences. The 2019 rankings are based on Higher Education Research and Development (HERD) Survey data from fiscal year 2017.

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is at the top of the 2019 rankings, at $126,694,000 in federal research and development expenditures for social and behavioral sciences in fiscal year 2017.
