Longtime NCFR member Randal "Randy" Day passed away suddenly on Jan. 17, 2017. He was 68 years old.

A 39-year member of NCFR, Dr. Day was also a journal author. He served as faculty at Washington State University, South Dakota State University, and, most recently, at Brigham Young University, where he retired from the School of Family Life in 2016. A father of five whose work took him all over the world and earned him many awards and distinctions, impacting the lives of thousands of students and colleagues.
