NCFR member Lonnie R. Maurer passed away June 1, 2013, at age 53, after a 16-month battle with cancer.
Following his calling, he graduated from Concordia University - Ann Arbor (Michigan) with a B.A. in family life with a minor in youth ministry in May 2013.
It is Lonnie's wish that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Concordia Center for the family: Concordia University 4090 Geddes Rd., Ann Arbor, MI. 48105, or Trinity Lutheran Church - Youth Group.
