all 3 journals

The results of the annual Journal Citation Report, a standard measure for scientific journals, are now available for the Journal of Marriage and Family (JMF), Family Relations: Interdisciplinary Journal of Applied Family Science (FR), and Journal of Family Theory & Review (JFTR).  This measurement includes impact factors and a rank by subject category in the Social Sciences Citation Index maintained by Clarivate Analytics.

This is the first time a five-year impact factor was available for JFTR, and it made its debut with a score of 3.731. The JFTR two-year impact factor and ranking among family studies journals both increased.

The impact factor for a journal measures the frequency with which the average article in that journal was cited in a given year. The two- and five-year impact factors for 2018 are listed in the table below along with the new category rankings.
