Just like the rest of the world, residents of Sesame Street are practicing social distancing too.

As part of Sesame Street's Caring For Each Other program — an initiative meant to support families during the COVID-19 outbreak — Elmo's dad, Louie, has a special  message of support for all of his fellow families staying home.

He salutes all the parents and guardians doing their best to keep kids safe and healthy at home and acknowledges, and reminds them to take time for themselves too. "We are all doing the best we can, and that is OK," he says. Watch his short pep talk for parents in this week's video below.
