The Illinois State University Council on Family Relations (ISU-CFR) — a student affiliate of NCFR — was recently recognized in their university news for successful efforts to keep the group active and meaningful throughout the pandemic. The student group is led by adviser Bill Anderson, Ph.D., CFLE.  ISU-CFR meetings have featured past members, social workers, teachers, occupational therapists, and others who still value the group and share their experiences and expertise as invited speakers. Ms. Perez expressed the importance of maintaining a connection between current students and alumni who founded and helped build the student organization.
