By recognizing exceptional scholarship, leadership and community service in the family discipline of graduating undergraduate and graduate students through its honors student recognition program, the National Council on Family Relations (NCFR) wishes to honor worthy recipients, and encourage them to continue contributing to the discipline of Family Science.

Students can submit applications for themselves, or be nominated by a college/university faculty or staff person, or employer. Awardees receive a graduation stole, a certificate, and recognition in the NCFR Report member magazine.

Applications should be sent early in the final term of the student's degree program. You can apply completely online and pay the application fee through the NCFR store (see the application for details).
