Work-related stress is a common problem due to job obligations that increasingly exceed an employee’s capacity and ability to cope. Deadlines for deliverables are exacerbated by the expectations of colleagues, students, and families. Work-related stress can also be brought into the home, increasing the toll on one’s health and well-being. Whether stress is brief or prolonged, managing it is an essential part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

This webinar will discuss stressors that can hinder daily tasks within the workplace and explore strategies to enhance focus and productivity. Specifically, instruction will be provided on how to identify and effectively navigate various workplace stressors and manage both short-term and chronic stress. Attendees will be guided through recognizing and addressing their own stress and be provided with practical tools to maintain their well-being and professional effectiveness.

By the end, attendees will be able to:

  • Identify different types of stress;
  • Understand the physical and emotional impact of stress on well-being; and
  • Manage both short-term and chronic stress in the work place.

Approved for 1.0 hour of CFLE continuing education.
