The Master of Arts (MA) in Marriage & Family Therapy program has been designed to educate and train students to function effectively as marriage and family therapists. Argosy University's Hawaii campus provides for its master's students an educational program with the necessary theoretical and clinical elements that will allow them to be effective therapists of couples, families, groups and individuals. The program introduces students to therapeutic foundations of systemic theory and the development of appropriate clinical relationships. Coursework in addiction studies and substance abuse counseling prepare students to work with families affected by the burgeoning substance abuse problem in Hawai'i and elsewhere.
