Presenters will use roundtables to spark discussion, with one topic at each table. and one panelists at each table. Table leaders will summarize each discussion, review the action items discussed, and facilitate the participants in taking actions to address the topic of the table.

Workshop participants will learn about characteristics and components of good quality case studies; strategies for incorporating case study analysis into classroom teaching; and explore different approaches to designing a classroom action research project that will more definitively measure their effectiveness.

Lightning papers organized by the Families and Health Section on aging. Topics include Marital Quality and Parent-Child Relationship Quality; Partner Support Affects on Poor, Rural Mothers; Partner Communication and Diurnal Cortisol Patterns; and more.

Aging topics covered by these four papers include: support exchanges between middle-aged children and aging parents; hearing impairment, and the role of partner support; and a curriculum for children in grandparent-headed families.

The results of three randomized control trials examining the effects of fatherhood interventions on low income, primarily unmarried fathers will be presented. The fourth paper will present the findings of a meta-analysis of existing evaluations of fatherhood programs.

Attendees will understand how to conduct, and present the findings of a survival analysis in a manner that will allow their audiences to understand the results and use them in their own practice or research.

Ten different speakers will present on a topic and lead discussion. At roundtables, participants can visit more than one roundtable discussion during the session.

The purpose of this symposium is to provide insight to the impact community and family level predictors have on overall well-being among LGB+ people of color from adolescence through adulthood.

The goal of this symposium is to advance research on complex links between parenting and coparenting among families raising children. In the three papers, the authors tackle this goal by using different analytical approaches.

We will be paying tribute to Lane Powell, Ph.D., CFLE, and Randy Day, Ph.D., NCFR leaders and fellows who have passed away this past year. We will also remember all NCFR members who passed away this year.
